Consciousness and the knowing field

Consciousness is an organising principle that has evolved in the West around which different manifestations of the new paradigm can coalesce. Its implications can be found in every discipline and enable us to inquire more deeply into how it is we think we know what we know. As a result, we can attempt to  break through the rigid structures of the mind that have been conditioned by the atomisation and mechanisation of at least  the last four centuries. As we learn that the world is not the fixed object of our desires, but an ever fluid relationship between our inner and outer world, then we can come into deeper relationship with ourselves, and the cosmos in which we live.

Consciousness is an expression of relationship, language and communication, and this section will explore new ways of conceptualising, researching into the possibilities of relearning deeper perceptions of ourselves, the world, and the cosmos in which we co-exist. By opening to the deeper resonances of this universe, both within and without, we can better learn to harmonise and build that which will sustain rather than destroy us.
